ATB protein skimmers have achieved a perfect balance between the ratio of the intake air and the volume of water in order to obtain a constant and stable volume of foam and the elimination of turbulence. The ATB company introduced the world's first skimmer with a revolutionary conical shape in 2001. Thanks to this, the contact time of air and water has significantly increased, thus increasing the efficiency of the filtration process in the reaction chamber . By combining this effect with the constant formation of microbubbles created by Airstar air pumps, a recipe is obtained for the uncompromising performance required by professional and amateur aquarists.
